Here is the cover of Dark Tower 6 "Song of Susannah"!

Looks pretty cool to me. I read somewhere that this book will shorter than the rest. |
Has anyone read the book just released? I think part 2 and 3 have been the best so far
|
I am reading it right now and so far it has been very good so far.
|
I heard this entire book will be in verse, like a poem. Or rather, like a song. The song of Susannah, apparently.
I wonder what the chorus will be. |

O.K. someone PLEASE fill me in here! I thought Wolves of the Calla was just released. How is this book even a thought yet? Is it going to be released soon?
Thanks in advance, Russ |

Yeah, I'm just kidding. Too much sugar this morning.

I just ran across a brief plot synopsis for SoS. Read at your own risk. There's only one (IMO) big spoiler, and it answers a certain question that's been asked here several times very recently. Don't forget to spoilerize any comments you may have!
Spoiler:

Wow, it sounds like either that could be totally amazing or totally awful. It'll be interesting to see if King can pull it off.
|
I just started reading this series of books during the last couple of weeks and have nearly finished book 3. I really should slow down as I don't want to have to wait along time between books. I'm not really that into the books but I guess I'm like Eddie. I don't really want to go on this ride but I want to see what all the fuss about the tower is.

Looks like Quint over at AICN has just read the book and written the first review: http://www.aintitcool.com/display.cgi?id=17401

June 8th can't come fast enough!

I have less than 70 pages left on WoC, and I'm glad I won't have to wait too long till SoS. I really dig book 5 so far. If I had to rank them:
1. Wizard and Glass 2. Drawing of the Three 3. The Gunslinger (revised edition, as it's the only one I've read) 4. Wolves of the Calla 5. The Wasteland I think they are all excellent, no drastic preferences between them. |

Looks pretty cool to me. I read somewhere that this book will shorter than the rest. And of course, I bet the ending will be wrapped up in 5 pages all nice and neat in typical King style. |
How pissed would you be if he decided to add 6 more books to it, just to tell the story of the last hundred steps leading up to the tower, ala Robert Jordan. Good thing SK isn't like him.
