what's the difference between book club edition books and books at borders. is it just the upc code?

also, i'm a big alex cross fan. i like the mystery fiction novels that revolve around one characer. but i was just wondering if anyone had read anything by brad metzler or vince flynn. i saw executive power at borders and i was intrigued. so let me know your comments on these two authors

I'm a member of the Quality Paperback Book club, and most of their books are exactly the same as the ones you would find in the bookstore, in paperback format, of course. Sometimes they will publish special editions, like a 3 in 1 set or an old classic that looks kind of crappy, but saves money. They did that with Roald Dahl and Anna Quindlen.
