Anybody read Robert Newcomb The Fifth Sorcerss?
I'm thinking of picking it up How is it?
I loved the Terry GoodKind sword of truth books and looking for more epic fantasy

DVD Talk Legend
I reached the halfway point and never finished it. Not a bad book, but it moved along very slowly. If a book is going to be really long (as this one is) it really needs to flow well and not bog down on details and sub plots. This one just seem to need a lot more editing in my opinion.
I would recommend the old Sword of Shannara series if you haven't read it yet over this book.

Well if you go by reviews...
including one in the Barnes and Noble newsletter that is supposed to SELL the books, it was one of the worst fantasy novels of the last few years. AND the new one is supposed to be worse!
