I've got all of Eisler's books signed. (Well, inscribed, actually.) Did you like TLA? The new one (Requiem for an Assassin) is coming out in May.

The earliest book I got signed was a paperback edition of "The Hidden Persuaders" by Vance Packard. He was visably unhappy the book wasn't a hardback edition but as I was a student (at the University of Texas) I couldn't afford the hardback. Al Capp (the author of "Li'l Abner") also appeared at the University. I wasn't thinking or I could have had him autograph one of the daily comics.

I don't think you have to worry, though. We'll be seeing Rain again one of these days.

I’m kind of jealous of some of the books listed, Harper Lee, Michael Crichton and some others. I’ve had some books signed at signings by Bill Crider, Rick Riordan, John J. Nance, J. A. Jance, David Baldacci and others. I’ve also bought some books that were autographed. Even found a Jeffrey Archer autographed book that ended up on our side of the water.

I have Michael Chabon's The Adventures of Kavalier and Klay autographed, and I just got Jodi Picoult's The Tenth Circle autographed last night. I'm also going to a Chuck Palahniuk signing for his new book Rant next month in Boston to get my copy signed.

I have quite a few in my collection... But among the ones I really cherish are signed copies of Dean Koontz' children's books that he sent when my daughter was born.
