I was never much of a reader, until recently a friend of mine insisted that I read The Gunslinger. Since then I have read the rest of The Dark Tower series. I followed that with The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon, Desperation, Everthing's Eventual, and I am currently reading The Talisman. I have also read Eight Black Horses by Ed McBain, in the middle of that somewhere. I plan on reading more of his 87th Precinct series. Is there any other authors you could recommend, based on this. Thanks in advance.
