Jus finished Teratologist , by, Edward Lee, and, Wrath James White ( yep, that's his name).
This is what they call Hardcore Horror fiction , or extreme horror.
And, boy , is it ever!
Very graphic sex and violence. These guys just write to gross you out.
Of course, I thought it was very extreme, until I read an online story by Wrath James White called Hurting Him .
Now that's Hardcore horror. An absolutely brutal short story about a man's revenge on someone who stole his love.
Phew! Need something to cleanse my soul. Pretty sure I'm going to hell for reading that novella.
Maybe I'll read something lighter next, like, Her Blood Spattered Face

PREDATOR: Big Game
It's a novelization of a Dark Horse Comic where a Predator has come to New Mexico ...to hunt (duh)... and it's forced to deal with a Indian soldier trained to face the Predator by his Medicine Man Grandfather.
Apparently, the Tribe has been dealing with Predators for years
The next book will deal with a Predator in Siberia/Russia

So far this month i've read Dark as Day, The Merchant of Souls, Neverwhere, Damnation Day (something like that) and something else i can't remember the name of.
I'm in the process of reading Ringworld and planning on getting Broken Angels, the new Hammer's Slammer's book and something else i saw in the bookstore but couldn't afford since work doesn't start till monday. That's not going to be enough to hold me over for the rest of the month tho, i'm thinking i'll go find some books i've always meant to read.

This month, finished "Hannibal", "The Lathe of Heaven" and "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy." Really enjoyed them all, especially "Hannibal".
Will start Marquez's "Love in the Time of Cholera" tomorrow.

Finished Voice Of The Blood, by Jemiah Jefferson.
A decidedly different Vampire book(which I would have ignored because I was truly sick of Vampire fiction if it were not for reviews by readers on the internet.).
Very erotic, and graphic( the description of a human becoming a vampire is very squishy, and gorey).
Now reading "Face," by, Tim Lebbon.

Just finished Thomas Perry's Shadow Woman. Wonderful, wonderful book. This rivals Pursuit as my favorite Perry novel.
Next up, I am going to continue his Jane Whitefield series with The Face-Changers.
