The IMDB of Books?

Came across this, this morning:

http://www.iblist.com/

The intro' lays it on a bit thick but I like the idea. Just thought I'd share it with the other DVDtalk Book Forum members

That's a great reference point, especially if you're trying to put a series in order, or figure out what else an author has written.

Thanks Bean-si.

Very nice. Just added to the favorites. Nice find.

Good idea for a site, but it needs a lot of improvement. Several authors I searched for were nowhere to be found, and some of the ones I did find had less than half of their books listed.

Honk!

Well, from what I read on the message board, it appears that they're working entirely from volunteer submissions; they didn't start with any sort of database. So until they get a little more established and really build up their database, it's going to be pretty hit-or-miss.

There's also the one on my site at
http://library.thebookforum.com

It really needs more people to suggest new books/authors, as well as review them.

Trying to build up something like this as a one person job is an enormous task!
