What are the odds of the British Special Ed. Harry Potter books continuing?
I aready have the American Editions, but I have thinking of buying the British Ed. too. They have a hardcover special edition set that has the author's name embossed in gold on the front and they are very nice looking. I was wondering if they will continue to put these books out or will they stop making the special editions.
On a little different note. Is there any difference between the british Harry potter books from Canada and fromt he U.K.? You can get the set from Canada for about ten dollars cheaper.
Here is the British set:

Here is the Candian set:

Are the British editions of Harry Potter books different sizes than the American ones
I just got my set of Britsh edition of Harry Potter hardcover books in. The first thing I noticed was the size difference from the american versions. These seem to be slimmer and not as wide. The versions I bought came from Amazon.ca and I wanted to make sure I got the same kind.

Gusamo, I saw the UK paperbacks at a second hand store here this weekend, and I was surprised at how slim they were. I wondered if it was just really thin pages, but nope, where the US Chamber of Secrets is 300 something pages, the UK one was 200 something pages. Odd.
I know that doesn't answer any of your questions, but I just thought I'd throw that in.
