Here's an odd coincidence
I just started reading 24 Hours by Greg Iles. It's about a team of professional kidnappers that can ransom a child within one day, until the parents of one snatched kid decide to fight back.
On Sunday, I was reading about the videos to be released this week, which included Trapped with Kevin Bacon. The plot seemed very similar, and then I noticed the character names were the same. Checking out the IMDB, I saw that it was indeed the same story, and Iles also wrote the screenplay.
I just thought that was weird that I would start reading a book without knowing that the movie was being released the same time.
