Live From New York

Has anyone read this? I was thinking about picking it up.

How does it compare to Saturday Night: A Backstage History of Saturday Night Live by Hill and Weingrad ?

I breifly looked at this book and its not written in a story form. It is basically just cast members/writers etc. thoughts about certain topics. I was very disappointed.

Don't be disappointed. It fascinating the way the views of cast and crew reflect back on the birth and ascent of SNL. You get the origins and backstories straight from the horse's mouth.

I liked the book. It is VERY easy to read since it simply quotes from people associated with the show.

It's basically a gossip book, but was entertaining, imo.
