How do you protect your books?

I am starting to collect first edition and signed copies of my favorite authors. I would like to display them on a book shelf but still protect them from dust and stains and yellowing. How can I keep them looking new without wrapping them all up in Saran wrap.

Edit; Dang, it's been a while since I've been to the site. They've got a load of gawdy in-house advertising, and they've buried the main reason they exist. Go to the main page, click on Library Supplies and Furnishings, pick your country, hover over Book Jacket Covers & Accessories to get the roll-out menu, thn click on Book Jacket Covers Selection Guide. Sheesh, kinda tedious. Anyway, I use these all the time, and they are great. You don't adhere anything to the actual book or cover, like the public librarys do, and they keep your books lookin' new as the day they were published. Check it out.
