Anyone read The Thief Lord?
 

Lately I've gotten a few recommendations for Cornelia Funke's The Thief Lord. After reading all the Harry Potter books, I moved on to Philip Pullmans' 'His Dark Materials' series. I put the second book on hold as I just started reading Palahniuk's Lullaby. Can anyone else here recommend The Thief Lord?

This just reminded me to send the copy I had bought for my sister in the mail. Should try to actually read this since she has been eagerly awaiting this book.
