ponder this
if you listened to a book on tape, you know what im talking about. and a week later someone asked you if you read the book that you actually listened to, would you reply that youve read it, or say that you heard it on tape??????

Upon the move from other to book forum. Decided to remove my own little "other-ish" comment. 
I would say that you could say you have gotten through the book. or say. "Yes, I have finished that book" just don't bring up the tech about actually reading and listening to the book.
