Do you have any autographed books?

I have the Masters of Darkness special edition book signed by most of the authors. (Stephan King, Ray Bradbury, Robert Bloch, and more.) I also have Real Peace signed by Nixon. How about you?

I recently moved to Denver not to far from one of the greatest bookstores in America: THE TATTERED COVER. They hose author readings/signings about 5 times a week.

I've been there many times now, getting books signed by ORSON SCOTT CARD, george pelecanos, JEFF LOGAN, dennis lehane, and a few others. I'd say in all, I have about 30 signed, hardcover first editions.

It's great to meet the authors and hear their stories on writing and breaking into the biz. Totally gives you motivation to write your own stories.

b2k: agreed that the Tattered Cover is a great bookstore. I've been there many times.

Personally, I have an autographed first edition of "Side Effects" by Woody Allen.

I just made a list of all my books, and I realized I have roughly 40 books that are signed by the author. Of 260 first edition hardcovers, that's not a bad ratio.

By the way, is it just me, or are girls who read totally hot?!?!?!

No, it's not just you. Girls who read, enjoy independent and thought provoking cinema and music beyond the mainstream are hot. I've always been attracted to girl who are intellectual and creative/artisitic.

As for signed books, the only one I have is Nicole Blackman's book of poetry, Blood Sugar.
