What are some good JFK books?
Specifically dealing with the assasanation and also conspiracies. I am not a fiction fan and need some good non fiction to read while I am waiting on Theodore Rex to arrive that I ordered.

As one of the six people in America who does not believe there was a conspiracy, I would recommend Case Closed by Gerald Posner.

Any ideas about a JFK Assassination book for a 12 yr old?
My daughter is 12, an avid reader, and just this week became interested in the JFK assassination, Oswald, and the related conspiracies. She wants to learn more (and more than a little miffed that it doesn't get talked about in school) but she was a little put off by some of the larger, drier tomes that I have lying around the house that go into great laborious detail.
I gave her an overview of events, but I'm wondering if their is a book out there that covers the info in a more succinct manner...?

Assuming your daughter is an advanced reader (and it sounds like she is), I suggest Gerald Posner's "Case Closed":

FYI, there is an ABC special tonight about the assassination that your daughter might want to watch.

Thanks for the reminder!

And Spooky, ironically the Posner book is the one I suggested to her as, as well (even though I'm a conspiracy buff at heart)

Well, I just think that there are so many conspiracy books out there, one can't properly draw their own conclusions without reading Posner, which is a well-researched anti-consipracy book that manages to answer a lot of the questions conspiracy people raise.
