Has anyone ordered from doublediscount.com?

And if so, I have a few questions for you.

How are their books so cheap? Are the books new or used? And how is their service? Thanks in advance.

I've ordered from them once. The books came and I was happy with them.

edit: Oh, and they were new.

I just found out their shipping prices. It's $4.50 an item, and that's just on priority shipping! I might as well order elsewhere.

It's $4.50 for the first, and $3.50 for each after that. It does get high, but I just ordered three books from Amazon for $38 (including my $5 off coupon) and those books would have only been $31 from dd, even with their high shipping.

I think they might be best for people who want to buy tons of books, or expensive ones (thus getting the 75% off without having lots of $3.50 charges to begin with).

I do think they make their money on the shipping, which is kind of an annoying way to do business.

Just had a look myself.

They ought to be wearing a mask and riding a horse for the amount they charge to ship outside the U.S.

$4 per shipment and $10 for each item, who knew paperbacks were that heavy.

I just ordered 7 books from them and my total shipping fee was $4 and some change. Use the special!
