I need book suggestions. A little about me. I don't read. The last time I read a book for fun was back in high school (i'm a college senior now). But this summer I have a lot of time on my hands so I decided to read. I really like Crichton's books so I'm currently gonna read some of those but they usualy dont take too much time. What I like about his books is that he researches the topic so you learn as you read which is what I'm looking for. I also liked the few political novels I've read (Seven Days in May and Advise and Consent).

Based on this does anyone have any suggestions?

thanks

Just about anything by Hunter S. Thompson is great. Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas is a good one to start with.

Sounds like you would like any Tom Clancy novel.

If you're into forensics (CSI type stuff) then check any of the Patricia Cornwell books.
