I just recived this novel earlier this evening and can't stop reading it. It's a very touching, heart-felt novel and I almost felt like shedding a tear or two at times. It's about high-school life and the the lives behind the people there. It's the most honest book on sex, masturbation, school, suicide, movies, books, and people I've ever read. If you liked Catcher In The Rye you would love this book. Updated and much more touching.

Just finished reading it. One of the hardest books I've ever read. Not because of the reading level or anything like that, but because of the content and how true to life it is. It's very depressing to read and yet very sentimental. It didn't really hit home, because I never really have been in any of the main characters situations, but I guess it's just because it's so well written and I can imagaine all those situations happening to me. I'm really glad I read the book. I don't think I'll be able to read it again, it just brang me through so many emotions, happy and sad, I don't think I could handle it again. I recommend it to anybody, regardless of age. It's something that should be required reading in school. Or at least something teachers should be required to read.

Read this book. I guarentee you will not be dissapointed.

Despite it's subject matter, is this book geared towards a younger audience? Or would someone over the age of 30 enjoy it?

Anyone can read it. Older people might get nostalgic, younger people might compare it to themselves now.

I read this book when it first came out, saw something about it on MTV one day when they were spotlighting young authors or something. It's a good read.
