Thanks to everyone who answered my questions on the Hobbit. (the thread got deleted in the switchback) You got me to read the book and I loved it. I just bought Lord of the Rings today so we will see how that one goes. Thanks again...

I'm glad you enjoyed reading it. I really do think it'll make some parts of the LOTR's make a little more sense. Plus it's just an essencial read for any Tolkien fan.

Glad you liked it. I'm sure you'll enjoy the Rings Trilogy too. Another Tolkien work you may want to give a try sometime is The Silmarillion. It's a tougher read for most people, but IMO worth it.
