I'm on of those adults that got sucked into Harry Potter's World. I don't really want to debate this.
Supposedly there is a new book out this week that is supposed to be similiar in style to HP. Sorry, I don't have any information and can't for the life of me find it easily on Amazon.
Does anyone know about this book?

I'm another adult reader who enjoyed the Harry Potter books. I'm not sure exactly what book you're referring to, but if you're looking for similar stuff on the shelves now, I recommend 'The Chronicles of Chrestomanci' by Diana Wynne Jones. Well-written, quite British, with youngsters and magic and imposing institutions and dire enemies.
The second volume was recently released and both should be easy to find. Check the SF/Fantasy section.

Thanks for the recommendation. I will track down the name of the book I was talking about. Its strange because the article that discussed this new book said preorders etc were very high but I cannot find mention of it now.
