Barnes & Noble - 50% off select Paramount titles

I'm not sure how long this sale will run, but...!

Amazon is price-matching some/many of these, but support the original source of the sale whenever possible.

re: Barnes & Noble - 50% off select Paramount titles

Did this sale just start today? I ran into a few titles that aren't marked down. Terms of Endearment 4k isn't 50% off but says it is. The Indiana Jones four-movie 4k set isn't marked down. If you try to buy those individually, Raiders isn't marked down, but the sequels are 50% off, except the most recent.

Edit to add: I did a chat. I was told they couldn't guarantee if any additional titles would be marked down. When I pointed out the title that was labeled as discounted but wasn't, I was told I could order it, send my order number, and then they would refund me the difference. I asked if that meant the website wouldn't be fixed and was told they would look into it.

The listing says listed Paramount titles, not all Paramount titles. Listing would be clearer if it said select Paramount titles.

Even if it does say that, some of the listed titles aren't truly marked down to 50%. That seems like a potential problem to me.

Yeah, went with B&N for a couple of titles:

Chinatown 4K
Galaxy Quest 4K
Halo S2 4K

Ordered ZAZ Collection at Amazon before I saw this sale. I would have gladly cancelled and ordered from B&N, but unfortunately, none of the other titles I would be interested in are on sale, so I can't get free shipping, and no local B&N have ZAZ in stock.

I'm guessing the premium membership 10% off doesn't stack with this promotion?

I've updated the subject line. Sorry, I saw "All 50% Off Paramount Titles" and misread it as "50% Off All Paramount Titles".

I’ve surprisingly never seen Galaxy Quest or We Were Soldiers so I grabbed both of those.
I upgraded Red Eye, Sleepy Hollow, Sweeney Todd and the ZAZ set from dvds.
I’m still hoping for a Naked Gun set, but that price was too good to pass up. I already sold half the codes, so that helps even more.

Re: Barnes & Noble - 50% off select Paramount titles

I went to a nearby store to purchase the Chinatown 4k. It had been unavailable online but in stock at this store as of yesterday. I make the 45-minute drive but can't find it. I check the app. Now it's available online but sold out in store! I guess I should have checked before I went.

I did find out that Raiders of the Lost Ark 4k gets marked down 50% at the register, even though it's not 50% online. So, if there's a Paramount title you want that's available at a store and not marked down online, it might be worth a trip.

I kept hoping that the Scream trilogy on UHD would get added, but no luck there. If it was in stock at my store, I’d ask about it.

I tried to reserve, via the website, a last copy of Desperado a few weeks back that was showing in stock. Got a cancellation the next morning saying they couldn't find it. Like you, this was at a store about 40 minutes out, so I didn't want to waste time/money driving out to look for it.

Yeah, I did a sort by 4K title, and it just took me to the Gladiator II page. Even if I was interested in buying that, which I'm not, it isn't a particularly good price.
