I'll probably get a couple of titles. CC lets you stack those coupon codes that the criterion channel sends out and I have $30 worth in my account, so that's going in on an order.

Sorta like that days when free shipping was $50 and most discs were $20. You'd buy 2, and with shipping like 8 bucks, it was more economical to just add a third disc to your cart. I fully believe this was intentional, to get people to buy that "one more" disc for the free shipping.

I just bought "Eclipse Series 37: When Horror Came to Shochiku" & "TheHeroic Trio/Executioners" from Amazon. The former was about the same price as this sale, & the latter was 10 bucks more. BUT, I used credit card & gift card money to pay for 'em, so I can't be too cheezed off.

Do they usually have these more than once a year? I’ve been considering getting the Criterion channel and if they toss out codes, I might just hold off until the next one.

Two a year. Usually February and October. I don't remember if it's happened every time, but they almost always send out a $10 gift card before the sale starts. They'll send them out other times as well, but those might only be for people who were day 1 subscribers. All I know is that before I ordered this go around, I went through my email and found $70 worth of codes.
