It would be really nice if KL (Olive and others) would put something up on their websites about these kind of things when they make announcements like this.
A list of titles if nothing else.
I've never gotten more than an email or two each time I've signed up for their email list.
Not everyone does FaceBook or Twitter.

No need to do Facebook. Their feed is viewable without having an account, or even being logged in if you do have one:

Mind you, this sale may have only been mentioned on Twitter so far, but their Facebook announcements sometimes do include title lists closer to the actual date. Sometimes . . .

I didn't see the image dex posted on my work computer, but now that I'm at home and on my home computer, it's showing up. Maybe it's a browser issue? I'm seeing it on Firefox.

When I popped into this thread originally, I didn't see the image here, either. Just an icon indicating a missing image. After I right clicked on the icon to open it in another tab, the tab opened up with a log-in window for blu-ray.com. When I logged in there the image appeared in the window. It still didn't show up here until later in the day when I came back to the thread.

(and like Facebook, one doesn't need to be a user to see their tweets: https://twitter.com/KLStudioClassic).
Eager to see which titles are $6.99. I'd imagine they'll be lesser sellers, but that's a fair price to test drive some odds and ends.

They also tweeted it prior to that.

Three titles I'm interested in (Shalako, Young Doctors in Love, and Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum) but shipping kills it with a capital K. If anybody else wants to do some kinda double thing so we can get free shipping and then ship off my titles for a modest shipping fee ($3-$4) to me in Texas (or a trustworthy fella who wants to do vice versa), I be willing to listen.

Keep in mind "Studio Classics" is basically their budget line.

Of course the Woody Allen had to be $12 (pass). I've got 6 maybes in my cart (which isn't enough for free ship); I'll leave them their & think about it for awhile.

Few titles scream 'buy' on this outing. Have 6 in the cart, not feeling compelled to add another 2 for free ship. Will probably let it slide this time. Definitely need more quality sale titles

Some good prices, but the vast majority of titles that catch my interest I already own. Curious how they can sell Thunderbirds Are Go/Thunderbird 6 with all those extras for $9.99. Sony must be practically giving licenses away.

While I do agree there are titles with no subs (I wanted Cuba as well but decided against for that option alone)...Kino has gotten back to subs on almost all of its "new" releases. The three titles I'm interested in all have subs. Kino for me is the third best domestic release for "boutique" titles (behind TT and Criterion). I also am in the same boat as you and I can't always crank up the volume, darn sleeping toddlers, lol.
