There is! GoldenWheels tried to set expectations on the other forum about there being a bit of a dry spell, so it might not be anything to write home about.

I’m not sure who here started referring to forum.blu-ray.com as “the other forum”, but it kinda stuck. The Hamilton Book thread there is what I was alluding to.

Re: Hamilton Book (Blu-ray Bargains)

For those who have it; is there any reason to own the SF Wild at Heart? I already have a region free disc I bought years ago at one of the European Amazons (think was Amazon.it).

It is frustrating to see after how much trouble it was to get the Walmart exclusive steelbook for RoboDoc from Walmart that it is now being dumped so cheap through Hamiltion Books. But this a great pricefor anyone that doesn't have it already.

How much ‘Olive Films’ inventory still remains unsold ??? Apparently quite a bit.

That is an awesome price for a great documentary and even a steelbook to boot. Very tempting but I just don't see me feeling the need to sit through that long but excellent documentary again anytime in the next 15 years. No reason to have it sitting on my shelf, even for 6 measly bucks.

That was the one title that really jumped out at me in this batch, but I kinda came to the same conclusion. And besides, if the disc gets dumped that fast, it’ll probably be streaming free somewhere soon enough.

EDIT: Just looked on Tubi and there it is.

That's my thinking as Deepdiscount still has fairly regular B1G1 sales on Olive titles.

Re: Hamilton Book (Blu-ray Bargains)

The Magicians which was mentioned in the Amazon thread is streaming on CW & 1 other (Tubi??). It isn't bad, but it's worth the commercials to save the $'s; I doubt if I'll ever watch it again (Though I would enjoy having "Alice" for Xmas or my Birthday!)

Wanted to jump on Chernobyl for $6, but it says "This is a Spanish language version with an English track."

Anybody have any insight into this? I'm assuming the menus are in Spanish . . .

I don't have that specific one, but it looks like the Mexican release. Based on previous purchases of Mexican releases from Hamilton, they were the exact same discs as the US release, but with Spanish covers and (sometimes) disc art. Blu-ray has a feature that can show a different language menu based on the language and region you have set on your Blu-ray player, so this should show you an English menu.

That said, the back picture is giving me some pause, with the listed languages and subtitles a bit different than the US release, so either it's not listing all the features the discs have, or they're actually different discs this time.

I've ordered it, so I'll report back what I find.

Re: Hamilton Book (Blu-ray Bargains)

OK, so I got the Chernobyl Blu-ray today, and the disc art is in Spanish, but the menu when the disc loads is in English, and the audio and subtitle language options match the US set, including the English DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track.
