Never heard of coupon codes for Hamilton, maybe someone else knows, as I would be interested in coupons also.

A few over at blueray.com recommend "A Double Life". I just buy most Olives that are priced around $5 to collect dust.
I tend to do similar, but I'm running out of blu-ray storage space!

Be careful with these. That series is a pretty mixed bag, especially emanating as it does from late-to-the-exploiting-Bruce-party mainland China. Lots of suspiciously gushy reviews online, too, which makes many of the negative ones stand out in relief as more trustworthy. The anachronisms alone might make for a good drinking game, though, provided you don't mind dying of alcohol poisoning long before the series is over.

Re: Hamilton Book (Blu-ray Bargains)

Even though I already own Twilight Zone on BR it's quite tempting to snag backup copies for either the backup or just for the cases. They are that cheap...

Twilight Zone Seasons 3 and 4 are sold out. Season 2 is still available as of this writing.

Update All three sets are sold out. Give the public what they want and it sells out.

Titfield Thunderbolt is a wonderful Ealing comedy, but be warned the US release does not have subtitles (the UK version does). --Peter

Would I buy the Gumby Movie Blu simply because the case appears to be shaped like Gumby's head?

Quite possibly!

Re: Hamilton Book (Blu-ray Bargains)

  • Good prices on the Film Movement blu's
I have a bunch of Film Movement DVDs,s that I bought over the years, plus my local libraries always carry a few.
Most of the movies from the Film Movement I have enjoyed, so I bought all blu available + some of their DVD's.
All blind buys

Here a link to
Film Movement DVD's that HB carries, most at a higher price than the blu's

You're not kidding about those prices. I've been looking to upgrade my DVD of Pillow Book for a while. I've never seen the price anywhere near that low.

He does those once every few months. Usually you have to dig through the thread on bluray .com. He did post this about the upcoming March 6th drop:

So!

Frankly gang I do not think there is much that is tremendous in this next 2/6 drop, nor do I think there is much period. But...

You know I don't tease incoming stuff often, if ever. It can lead to disappointment as deals get cancelled, deals fall apart, etc etc. But I believe I have something of real interest in the pipe for the 3/6 drop. I'm not 100% SURE until it is on MY dock, and so I hope to not pull the rug out but ...I am inclined to say, save your $$$ for the next drop (how many stores would tell you that!!!)

I won't give hints so don't ask! Just cross your fingers it goes through.

Note that price cuts are different from "drops" of new titles. Hamilton Book does price cuts weekly:

That's a very good set. The hardcover GN is worth the price all by itself. I snagged a copy of that one a few years back for the same price in an Amazon BF sale.
