Those were the only ones that got my attention too. Not too long ago, there were rumored to go OOP and I paid $30 each at importcds while the price skyrocketed only for it to fall back to normal FA prices

I picked those up from Hamilton last sale, I suspect F.A. is losing their licensing. Great price!

Yup. Hamilton is best for those Asian movie bargains, low price Olives, Shout Factory, Code Red and occasional Scorpion and other catalog titles. Stuff like Vineager, Arrow and Kinos are best bought elsewhere, usually at those said label sites.

Lots of new Kino in the DVD section this month at good prices. Do you think any chance for the same Kinos in Blurays in a future month for Hamiltonbooks?

On the other forum, Goldenwheels said there was a technical issue and the monthly restock should happen tomorrow at the earliest.

A lot of Kino and Severin in the new update. There are some good titles, but you can get them for cheaper on those companies' websites when there are sales.

Mackintosh and T.J. just came out on Blu-ray with a decent film transfer. Highly recommended for Roy Rogers' fans. Kind of a precursor in some ways to Yellowstone.

Wonder why their prices have gone up so much? I would think with covid media sales would be up as few are going to theaters.

re: Hamilton Book (Blu-ray Bargains)

They operated in relative obscurity as a media seller until one of their employees became really active over on Blu-ray.com. If you read between the lines, some labels they used to deal with didn't like the inner workings of their clearance stock so openly discussed and brought to light. I've noticed the discounts have progressively gotten worse the more attention that thread over on Blu-ray.com got.

I got several of the Severin off deep discount like a month ago for close to (and in some cases over) 50% off. All the Colors of the Dark is $13.46 now and I'm sure you can apply a 15% off coupon.

The only decent value is the Arrow film 3 brothers at $9.99

I just bought The SIlent Partner for $10 directly from Kino. I mean is Kino trying to make them look bad or are HB pricing much higher?

HB pricing is much higher. Honestly, as mentioned before buying directly from the label is usually the best bet.

re: Hamilton Book (Blu-ray Bargains)

I would imagine their pricing is based on how much they pay for the product. Meaning the distributors are charging more so HB has to charge more.

re: Hamilton Book (Blu-ray Bargains)

Kino Lorber is running a massive sale on their site right now. They're not offering the titles to retailers at the same prices, because they want to drive people to purchase from them directly.

HB gets both in-print new and closeout stock titles. The in-print stuff is going to be a bit over wholesale. It's the closeout stock that the real deals on HB are at. But like any store, don't assume HB is going to have the best price for every title; shop around.

Kino's in house sale prices are up also, as mentioned on the Kino thread.

re: Hamilton Book (Blu-ray Bargains)

I may bite the bullet on some of the KINO dvd deals. At $5.95 it is a decent price and some nice titles. Anyone else purchase any Kino dvds?
