this brings the classic hitchcock set (spellbound, notorious, rebecca) down to $40. Still a lot of money for 3 films, but hitchcock always seems expensive on Blu. Still, the lowest I have seen this set so far.
Think this is the lowest that set will go? Wonder if it will be better to wait for Black Friday sale.

I thought that set was almost OOP or at least extremely short supply. It's basically been oos at Amazon most of 2016. If you wait until December's BN 40% sale ASSUMING it's still in stock then you should be able to get it for less than $30 and possibly in the $20-25 range if you are a member and can get them to obtain and instore copy. If it's in stock of DD it should be at BN as well
It was mostly a $15-20 set up until the end of 2015. The last year it's mostly been OOS at most places and moving to 3rd Party and Scalpers which is when the price went crazy. I'm not sure the prices are going to get better on it until they re-release it. I think it got caught up in the MGM financial problems and I forget who bought most of the the MGM assets and may re-issue it under a new banner.

Didn't really want to spend a lot, so I was happy that my two most-wanted new releases ("The Thing" on backorder, and "Iron Giant: Signature Edition") put me at $25.01 for free shipping.

Deep Discount's price matching policy sucks. I tried matching their price to Amazon's and they have to include the latter's shipping and handling fee. I'll just pick it up at Best Buy, then.

I used the coupon to get The Thing for $17 and Carrie for $17.80. Both of which were out of stock but they just came back in and was shipped this afternoon. Good deal for brand new Scream Factory releases.

I picked up The Thing as well. Turned out to be cheaper than the $18 that I was previously bummed at missing out on at Best Buy. Unlikely we will see it at $17.00 again any time soon since the only way it got to that price is them having it on a Halloween sale before the stacked 15% off.

For $11-12 I'd be tempted just tp put in another order with DD and keep doing it until somebody else drops the price. Since the DD group controls pretty much most of the normal online companies I'm not sure you're going to do a lot better.

Welp, I thought I would post an epilogue to my Punisher story. I ended up ordering it through ImportCDs.com for about $3 more (since I had to contend with shipping this time). The odd thing is ImportCDs is a sister site to DeepDiscount. But it shipped last night, and I should have it before Thanksgiving. But at least I only paid ~$15 for it and maybe I'll get a few bucks out of the dvd as well. Happy ending (mostly). Yeahie.

The current code PRESENTS only last till tomorrow 11/16 and is advertised as their last store wide code for the winter sale.
I was hesitating placing an order for the previous code which was 13% off, thinking they were only going to keep escalating, but this 'last one' is only 10%.
Funny though that one of the titles I was planning to order fell in price $2 in the last day making the cart total only a $1 more despite the lower coupon discount.
I find it hard to believe they won't be running any more coupons around BF, but then I thought that even if they do, and they are better coupons, the prices on what I'm looking at will likely go up anyway.
at this point all I want for the rest of the year is a good deal on The Flash S2 and Supergirl. Anything under $30 and I'm likely to bite since I'm getting really impatient.

The coupon code PRESENTS was supposed to be good until 11/17 at 5pm CT. However, I went to place an order at 4:45pm and it was already expired, so no sale.

The arty Vampire flick "The Hunger" is 9.99, which beats the 11.36 (approximate) at Amazon's Warner Archive sale. However, that's the only WA Blu-ray at that price.
