I picked up that Hitchcock box set too! What an incredible deal! I also added Lady Snowblood to get the free shipping. I'm stoked

Interesting. I wonder if that means there's a finite supply of those. Probably not since as long as the singles are in print they can keep bundling them up. It still makes me wonder how long it will be before we see, say, an Antonioni box, or a Bergman box or two, or a Harold Lloyd box (they'd only need to do one more of his pictures, unless they opt for a triple feature), etc. I mean, I'm happy paying $20 a pop, but $11.87 has its appeal, although the wait would certainly be a long one.

..when I put in the coupon code for my bluray orders "the graduate" and "lady snowblood" the system reverts back to charging me shipping charges...why is that?

I already have A Hard Day's Night so I can't make up my mind to pull the trigger on the Rock Box.
I liked The Virgin Spring more than The Seventh Seal.

Not sure if this is what happened to you but the way the code works is a bit odd in that it only works for the items in the cart at the time you enter the code. If you add something to the cart after the code is entered you must apply the code again to get the discount on the newly added items.

I might consider ordering a few during this sale since it will save me the sales tax I pay at Costco. Including getting Inside Llewyn Davis a little cheaper without tax.

I know they're not on sale, but people may want to consider adding the replacement blu-ray cases:
https://www.criterion.com/shop_produ...ay-case-5-pack
They used to have one for "Night of the Hunter" for those who didn't like the digipack version; I don't see that on the site - does that mean newer pressings of that film are now in the plastic cases?

Didn't take the coupon, and I got charged $100. In spite of the fact that the order has not shipped yet, they won't let me cancel it. Just fucking special. Best-case scenario, I'll return them and get refunded, hopefully.

Make sure when you copy and paste that you delete that space after the code that is inserted automatically. That makes it work.

Why'd you submit it if it wasn't showing the coupon? Or it was?

Tried to get "Pina" in 3D, which is regular price $39.99 now so was hoping it'd be $20 after the discount, but it's just taking the half off the LIST price which is $49.99 so no go. Can't afford to pay more than $20 right now, but hopefully I'll be employed by the next Barnes and Noble sale and get it then.

I wasn't sure if I was going to participate in this sale, but I noticed I still have a $10 credit and am getting close to earning enough loyalty points for me. Needless to say, I splurged.
I bought The Kid, Speedy, Burroughs, and Death By Hanging. Not a bad haul at all.

Re: Criterion Flash Sale 50% Off SRP for next 24 hrs
I'd call Criterion CSR while the sale is still going on and explain that the code glitched (not the first time). Assuming all the items were eligible they might re-run the transaction or credit your acct. Honestly I'm having trouble finding a phone number, but corporate NYC HQ is (212) 756-8850 or (212) 756-8822. They might not like that, but maybe if it's wrong they can give you a direct number
If you can't find a phone number -- send a polite email now and get it in the pipeline and see if they can help out. [email protected]

I waffled about doing it this time, but finally pulled the trigger with 5 minutes to go.
Ordered Moonrise Kingdom, Lady Snowblood and Kwaidan, and I had the $10 GC.
