If you look at my original post it refers to the DVD version of Twilight Zone and All In The Family. That is what was included in the e-mail. The new reduced price blu ray version of the Twilight Zone will not be released until 12/13 so it is doubtful it will be included in the sale this year.

Does anyone else think it's odd that a CHARITY sale is requiring a special hard to get password?

Same as last year, so no. Not odd at all.

But it's not a charity sale that's open to the general public. And I'm sure the reason for that is because supplies are limited.

EDIT: Looks like the preview is partially up. They list a bunch of titles, but only some have prices (stuff from last year has prices?).

Are those prices from last year? Those HBO seasons look more expensive, at least what from I can remember.

Star Trek: The Compendium was $9.00 last year. It is showing as $15 currently. Philomena was $3 last year and $8 now. Penny Dreadful First Season was $10 last year and $15 this year. So yes the prices appear to have been better last year if what we are currently seeing are this year's prices. Perhaps the prices go down as the sale goes on. We didn't get access until the middle of last year's sale.

And speaking of, how do we access the sale? Are we still using the Twilight Time login info? If the prices don't drop, I may skip this year's sale.

It has been that price for months (I checked the site out a few months back just to see what they had). I am virtually certain that the prices will go down substantially once the sale actually starts. I really hope the prices on the new Scream releases are good. There are so many things of interest this year.

Re: EAA Charity Sale - Deals on Shout factory, Warner, Criterion, others

As said, a lot of those items are from last year. They need to clean up the site.

But holy smokes, I hope there have some good deals. A lot of items I want. This was an awesome find last year.

Also, please don't go sharing this site with a bunch of people or other forums. If the TT login still works this year, we should not abuse it. We don't know if they will give it out again to the public. And we don't want to bite the hand that feeds (look at the Criterion/BN/coupon situation) by getting out of hand.

Edit: I've been going through some searches with postings and it seems like others on social media do open up their passwords to followers. So I think we should be good even if it isn't TT's login info.

I believe those are the dates from their 2015 sale. 2016 sale will start sooner.

Yeah, this seems to be prices which have not been marked down. I don't expect them to jack the prices up but if they do, well, I will go with Plan B.

Buy more Lego sets.

The big thing is getting a password. Have any been released yet?

I'm hoping Twilight Time will announce something, but so far nothing yet.

As I said in previous posts, I found other sites/bloggers, etc. who posted a password on social media. Some were even using the login "Misc". Hopefully it is the same one and we'll have no issue.

Would love to knock a lot of this stuff out of the way before Black Friday.

If you've purchased from them on the last sale, a password might be emailed. If it is, I'll share. But I'm sure we'll get the info 11-15 or thereabouts.

Judging from my email, "eaashop" is just for the preview.

In addition to a password you also need the name of a participating company. What company is associated with the password "eaashop" in case this is a working password.
