That's a pretty sad list there. No true detective? Amazon has gotten pretty lame

It doesn't have anything for Saturday or Sunday yet.. Saturday was a huge day for the bluray LDs last year.

Nothing I need, but I'd be interested in a number of those titles if I can get them: Cinderella, Mad Max, Aladdin, etc.

Also, I recall Amazon doing a lot of price-matching outside of the calendar in previous years, so I'd imagine there's little reason to write this year's event off just yet.

Also posted link in the OP.
One of the deals shown when I clicked this was for the full season sets of Parks and Recreation ($55.99) and Parenthood ($47.99) - both of which I was just thinking of buying the other day. These seem like the best prices at retail so far, so I went for them.

They did.. and if they didn't match the price, they got close(r). Its gonna be good this year and it being great will depend on what youre actually looking to buy.

Any advice on how to actually get these deals? I went to the page a few minutes before 2:35 to get TURBO for my kid, and as best as I can tell, it just disappeared from the "future deals" calendar without actually going anywhere (or showing the deal price on the item page).

The Calendar loads very sluggishly for me on Firefox.

The Calendar seems to be borking pretty much all browsers.

The deals actually start Thursday, so perhaps you were a bit early? I did see Turbo there earlier but not now; I think a couple of others have gone MIA as well (Aladdin, Cinderella), but they all still appear in the tiny sidebar on the right, and hovering over them reveals their start times.

I'm going through the same problem. I spoke to a representative from Amazon and they led me to a different part of the website. They said to clear my cache, but I have Firefox set up as not to remember my history.

Oh jeez. Thanks! (Its disappearance at the stroke of 2:35 threw me for a loop.)

Not sure if you noticed my revised post above, but Turbo (and the other titles) still show up in the little sidebar to the right, so they're still on deck, I suppose.

Leave it to Amazon to totally redesign major portions of their site right before a "major" sale. It was bad enough last year but the latest changes are some of the most unfriendly kludges I've seen in a while. Plus they rely on JAVA with apparently poorly written, sluggish code, at that. Just having the calendar open in a tab borks the entire browser slowing it down significantly.

I haven't been able to get the Twin Peaks link to work since I first saw the calendar.

From the sites I've looked at, this seems to be the worst BF ever.

Amazon is steadily adding new stuff to the deals calendar for Thursday and Friday. Saw Agents of Shield, Entourage the Movie and Blackish, just to name a few.

The way to get the deals will be through the LD page. Maybe they'll be on that deals calendar page as well, but my success has always been to be on the LD page, watching it count down. I don't think I've ever missed out on a deal while being on that page, regardless as to the device I was using.

YMMV.

I think they'll do better on Friday and over the weekend. Maybe even something surprising in the early hours of Thanksgiving.

Really? This EAA sale is one of the best ever. Add Jet and VCI sales and its perhaps my favorite sale in years.

Since this was the Blu-ray section, I did want to add that those two series only had DVD releases, so nobody mistakenly thinks they're ordering a Blu version.
