I would guess for those of us who got an additional 30% off the 50% discount on Lost In Space thus getting the set for $70 instead of $100 would respectfully disagree.

You should be able to beat this price at Barnes & Noble if you are a member and they carry this title in-store.

$300 less 40% sale(B&N always has a 40% off sale in December)

$180 less 10% member discount

$162 less member % coupon(there are always 20% coupons, but B&N will sometimes have bigger coupons during the holiday season)

$129.60(with a 20% member coupon) less $5 off of $50 coupon

$124.60 plus tax


I could also see this set hitting the $100 mark like the Bond set did. Since I have all 9 seasons on DVD, I will wait for the $100 price point to upgrade.

Yeah, I'd get this for $100 or less, but $150 is a bit much. Packaging isn't that great, and would have preferred stronger seasonal cases than those skinny POS cases.

Waiting for Millennium to get a BD release!

I guess I can't speak for everybody financially, but I can't see how $150 is a bad price for this set. Considering that the series is nine seasons and this is a complete set I think the price is fantastic. Yeah you might get it lower priced under the right circumstances but the fact its being offered for pre-order this low to begin with is a good deal.

At least for me, delaying purchase goes further than $150 price tag. Also factoring in is that I own them on DVD, they earlier seasons will have their aspect ratio altered, and that the picture and audio quality may not be that big of an improvement. To top it all off, if all the extras are not included, then I'll just keep my DVD sets.

Yeah, I bet it stays at $150. I was just trying to see why the OP thought that was a limited price that was only good through NY ComicCon.

I think its because they did something similar with the complete series of Lost in Space last year where they offered a discount when it was first announced at NYCC.

$150 for 9 seasons of a great show (mind you I didnt say 9 great seasons of a great show), is a great price on its own. However, when you factor in all the stuff that this set doesnt have, that price gets less great.

Is there confirmation of what's included? I guess I wouldn't know what is or isn't there as I didn't have the DVDs. The big omission from the set seems to be the two films but that's not overall a huge deal.

My season sets drowned last summer so I'm debating between picking up the DVDs at a cheap price or going all in for the blu. I'm going to check out the HD episodes on Netflix this weekend to see if I like the remasters and make a decision then.

Times sure have changed. I remember buying the early seasons for $80 each from Canada(Total Action Universe) because Amazon wanted over a hundred for them. Now you can get the whole shebang on Blu-ray for $150.

Except it won't be $150 on FoxConnect after this weekend - it's probably going to be closer to $195.99 on FoxConnect and most other sites. So around $100 on a FLASH deal down the road - assuming FOX makes it eligible.

You did? I'm not seeing them... I want to make sure this set includes ALL of the DVD special features from the ORIGINAL season releases. IIRC the slimmer releases did not include one of the bonus discs.
