Was Aladdin ever released in 3D?
If it wasn't previously converted for a theatrical screening of some kind, there's no reason that they'd do it for this release. Disney doesn't spend any real money on these releases anymore.

I think the initial announcement at the beginning of the year mentioned 3D, but the official press release later didn't have it included. I don't remember where I read, but that after The Little Mermaid, Disney was going to stop remastering their older movies in 3D.

I really wanted to get the Target exclusive, but I'm not sure if it's worth paying the extra $5 for. I still have it on preorder from Amazon, but might get the Best Buy version for $20 and the Lenticular cover.

Really? I don't remember any of the Disney classics being that low on BF. Last year we saw Maleficent for that much, so I fully expect to see Cinderella for around the same price. We MIGHT see Big Hero 6 or Inside Out for around $12 - $15 too, but I don't expect to see Aladdin for $10.

Yeah, the recent films get deeply discounted on Black Friday, I remember Brave got the same treatment, but the "vault" titles typically don't ever sell for that low.

Hariseldon, if Aladdin drops to $10 it will be a blink and you missed it 1 minute sell-out lighting deal on Amazon. It would be great if some of the other titles on your list actually hit $10-13, then I would consider grabbing them to get the reward points and legal digital copy.

Typically the Disney titles that are that cheap are new releases like Planes : Fire & Rescue and Maleficent last year. The Disney classics never drop that low.

I'm going to get the Target one. If anyone is interested the Target Circular for this week had a good 5 dollar target gift card deal. Buy 15 dollars worth of Target personal care items and get 5 dollar gift card until 10/10/2015 with coupon in circular. I just bought toothpaste and soap and got one.
I'm using the 5 dollar giftcard for alladin.

Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty in addition to Malificent have been 9.99 during various Black Friday b/c I got several for gifts. TLM, Monster Inc have been as well
I'd be surprised to see Aladdin that low and definitely not IO with it being a brand new release.
Tomorrowland, Cinderella Live (maybe with a repeat of Cinderella Animated), Alexander and the No Good, McFarland all are pretty good bets to be in that ballpark

And that's the key. I would be very surprised to see Aladdin hit the $10 mark. But the new Cinderella and Big Hero 6? Good bet both will be a lightning deal or door buster.

Picked up the digibook version this morning. I had to ask for it as this store had none of this weeks new releases up front. They only had the regular release on the shelf in electronics. I am not sure how many total they had as he just handed me one. I got them to pm their online price of $22.99.
I also noticed that as I was making my way to CS they had pulled out a planogram(?) filled with the Jurassic World dvd/BD/3D release(reg. and LE tins) and placed it next to the registers. After leaving the store I had to return about 20 minutes later as I forgot to pick something up and noticed it was gone.

I'm presuming the special BB lenticular cover is one of those 3D covers like those that appear on most 3D titles.
Stopped by 3 BB stores and none had them. The racks had an empty space next to the regular Blu-ray edition, but with a different SKU. Was in a hurry and didn't ask about it, but because of similar situations in the past with other titles, I'm presuming those didn't arrive.

I did what I always do in situations like this : I pre-ordered it online the night before it gets released for in-store pick up at my local store.
