I ended up not even picking any up. In July, I picked up about 20 titles, and over 50 last November.

If they don't fix this coupon business for the next sale, I'll be cancelling my membership.

Gotta give Criterion credit; at least they're consistent with their points program: you buy, you get, on sale or off, no membership dues. Granted it doesn't match some of the best B&N coupons and discounts of days gone by (including the 20% off that was briefly available at the very beginning of this latest sale) but I have to wonder if it'll end up being the only decent option in the future.

It's interesting to see others now experiencing what I have for years now in regards to BN refusing to apply any coupons to Criterion titles that were already on sale. Turns out the stores here were just ahead of the curve. At least I don't feel as cheated anymore.

That's assuming they even have 0.20 profit, because with some coupons like 20% or 30% off they might have no profit at all. Criterion does lower the cost of the titles during the sale for B&N, but margins could be very slim.
