3D Captain America at Target 19.99

Incase no one knows... Captain American The Winter Soldier 3D will be 19.99 at Target.

http://www.target.com/p/captain-amer...winter+soldier

I have been letting Amazon know myself, hopefully they will match it. Wanted to share the find.

Thank you Hethunder!

I miss the days of titles getting their own thread which allowed us to track the best deals.

I imagine Amazon will match later in the week after its release date. They don't want to help out pre-orders.

I'd think that's YMMV. I've had luck but more recently I've had sticklers not want to budge.

You can get the CA Winter Soldier 3D steelbook at Best Buy for $14.99 with the purchase of any tv title $14.99 and up. I'll probably go this route since I have a couple of RZ cert. to use.

Was expecting this to be overpriced, but I'll buy it for that. Digital-only bonus content is pretty dumb though.

I'll take the Best Buy route as we'll. I'll price match Homeland season 3 at Target ($24.99) then grab CA 3d for $14.99. Not BF prices but good enough as I wanted to watch both next week.

Just added the 2D version of CA along with a tv title on the Best Buy site and the price dropped to $9.99 for those not interested in the 3D version.

CA steelbook at Best Buy sold out quickly online. If that is what you want, good luck finding it in stores.

YMMV, I see it's available to order for Store Pickup at about half of the Milwaukee area locations. I did see that it was available at all locations a couple of days ago, so it may be going fast!

Looks like the Buy a TV set and get $10 off CA2 stacks with tthe Buy x shows and save % on each set. Bought 3 TV shows at 25% off each plus got $10 off CA2.

Re: 3D Captain America at Target 19.99

Decided to pick this up at Wal-Mart at midnight instead of getting up early and what an ordeal.

Rang up $29.96 instead of $19.96. Explained to the girl it was in the ad and then she slid it out of the cover suspiciously to make sure it was the same movie before calling her manager for an override. Manager arrives and keeps telling me that that price is for the 2 disc version and that I have the 3 disc version. I firmly but politely tell her she is wrong and to check the ad and that if I am wrong she can PM target for $19.99. So I wait another 5 mins while employees scour the store for an ad that doesn't exist. The whole time she is holding my bluray waving it around, tossing it on the counter and picking it up again. Eventually her boss tells her to 'just do it' she proceeds to ring it up wrong 4 different ways tossing it on the counter each time in between. Got there at 12:10 and got out at 12:40 (walking straight to the product and straight to the front) and there were zero other customers.

But it is a thing of beauty:

But it is a thing of beauty:

You got off easy. First location (nearest me) wouldn't put them out until 3AM. So I went to another location and he pulled every copy except the Black Widow one and wouldn't look any further. So I go to a 3rd location and they had 2 copies, both with minor wear, so I got the best one and got a PM after about 10 min. So I decided to drop by the first one since I wanted a mint slip and after 30 min of waiting for a manager, had him pull 2 copies of BW -- both of which were not perfect, but OK. Funny thing is, the other slips were mint, just not BW. So I go to check out and they wouldn't PM the ad. Finally just bought them at 29.96 and keep the best one and return the other 2. Employee also told me that they wouldn't adjust the price later if the price dropped. I told her I'd find a way around it and left.

All this for a f---- slip.

I really miss the days of three years ago when I didn't care about steelbooks, slips and limited editions. It was so much cheaper.

It may, but it didn't for ASM2, even though it worked online. But since there's no coupon this time, I'd just order online and get the TV Shows shipped and do a store pickup for the steelbook (if you can).

Re: 3D Captain America at Target 19.99

$29.96 for the walmart covers (two stores only had one each of BW and Nick Fury), but $19.96 for the regular 3d cover.
I am NOT paying $10 for a slipcover.
I feel horrible for it, but after I left with the regular cover, I thought that I should have just swapped the slipcovers in the store.

I had to go to CS to get them to adjust the price but they did it for me.
