if the 20% deal works on preorders with the $5 gift card promotion, then I'm in for a bunch of movies, although I'm disappointed that the $5 gift card isn't consistently applied to all versions (like Moana 3D or Girl on the Train 4K) like before.

I think the point was that the special 20% off will stack with any other existing Carthwheel coupons. There are some great ones on TV sets that still be active tomorrow. I know I will be hitting my location to see how the numbers work out.

I printed off a couple of the $5 Disney coupons with reward points. Planning on picking up Force Awakens 3D and Jungle Book 3D for $20.

Anyone see anything about them repeating the $10 newer release Blu-ray sale after Christmas?
It usually starts the following Sunday with the idea being that you can spend all the Target gift cards you got.

20% off sale does apply to pre-releases. Too bad they yanked all of the gift card promos to go with it.

Have you had any trouble trying to use these? I tried to use two at two different Targets, and both gave the cashiers the error message "cannot accept this type of coupon".

Keep an eye out for That 70's Show. It's currently around $78, and not in stock, but might be later on today. Would be a pretty good deal @ ~$64 for Blu-ray.

Nope, they scanned just fine today. Used both in one transaction and brought each movie to just under $20 w/ Red Card. I also noticed that Amazon dropped the price on both as well to $23.99, but I'm not sure if they would allow the price match, 20% off, and $5 coupon. That would be pushing my luck.

It's sold in stores as well. I saw a couple on the shelf today.

I also noticed that there is a cartwheel for 10% off seasons of Prison Break. So you could grab all four seasons today in store for around $11 per season.

Initially the same thing happened with mine, but I noticed the scanner was picking up more than one bar code (there are multiple on the printed coupon). Make sure they only scan the one primary barcode. Worked just fine when I showed her how to cover the other making sure only the primary one scans.

Was able to get the BFG and Pete's Dragon very cheap.

I got the new Magnificent Seven UHD tonight for $21.59 after the discount.

I was originally planning on getting the BD with the bonus disc, but they didn't have any. For an extra couple of bucks, I thought might as well get the UHD. Plus I just got a new XBox One S this week and have a 4K TV, so this works for me.

The preorder for Accountant 4K which had a $5 gift card promotion didn't show the 20% discount, so I passed.

But... Jack Reacher 2 in 4K added a $5 gift card unexpectedly along with the 20% discount. And for some reason I got an extra $5 discount on top of all that (perhaps from a previous preorder?), so my final cost will be around $14.

I also preordered Moana 3D and Dr. Strange 3D.

With the 20% off all movies plus the Cartwheel 10% off Prison Break seasons on Blu, we returned and rebought the ones we bought during the 10% off sale and got over $12 back. $10.79 each with this sale. Very pleased.

Does anyone know if the gift card offer will automatically apply to existing orders? I ordered Dr. Strange 3D during the 20% off day and hoping I'll get a gift card on top of that.

No, gift card promo is new and won't apply to the 20% discount. As Hariseldon said, you'll have to cancel and re-order. But they won't backdate the 20%, it was valid only for that day.
