When you find these clearance titles, do they have clearance stickers on them or do you have to scan them to find out the price?

Usually on back endcaps, they have sticker either on them or on the shelves they are on.

The ones that I found were in a bin with a sign that said "DVDs $3"--even though there were both DVDs and Blu-rays in the bin, and they all rang up at either $1 or $2.

Wow. Can't help but be envious.

I was just in my Walgreens this evening. Walked right past the the small display of titles near the register. I think a few were on sale for $25 or so.

^Same here. Several of those titles are on wish lists of kids I buy for. For those prices I'd get copies for each.

The 2 stores here *never* put such titles on clearance at those prices.

Where these up by the registers?

One of my local Walgreens used to have a display of BD/DVDs but now it's gone.

Are these marked at being at those sale prices, or something where you have to ask them to scan them to get the sale price?

If I recall, these deals rely on your local Walgreens being sloppy and missing their "media returns" window, correct? Until their Rite Aid buyout goes through, there's just one Walgreens in my county and they seem reasonably organized.

I picked up at my local walgreens, a copy of "valley girl", it was standard def, but, its a great 80s teen movie and "Nicolas's Cage's" first film, great soundtrack too
