TCM Shop 20% Off includes Twilight Time Tittles
TCM shop is currently having a 20% off sale site-wide with the code memorial20.
Most of their stuff is list price, but they do have some exclusives and the 20% comes off the sale price if that particular item is on sale. I purchased their "Ford at Columbia" DVD box set which lists at $54.95, is currently on sale for $49.99 and comes to $39.99 with 20% off. Shipping is free for the sale for orders over $39. They did charge me tax of $3.10.
Interestingly enough, they do carry most Twilight Time titles (no "Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia", though). I tested the code by putting "Major Dundee" in my cart and it took 20% off.
The only other source for Twilight Time titles is Screen Archives, which as has been noted many times, does not discount and charges for shipping.
The fly in the proverbial ointment is that TCM Shop's default price for Twilight Time titles is $34.95. Most of the titles on Screen Archives site are $29.95. The one exception that I could find was "Major Dundee" which is listed at $34.95 on both sites.
So "Major Dundee" is definitely a good deal at $28. For any of the other titles, you're saving $2. But, as we know, the titles rarely go on sale (the recent anniversary sale notwithstanding) and it's pretty easy to get to the $39 free shipping threshold if you're buying one title. So 2 bucks is 2 bucks and you can easily get free shipping.
Maybe not the best bargain in the world, but worth noting.

Bite The Bullet is a $35 one. $28 at this TCM sale. TCM doesn't seem to have Bell, Book and Candle which is also a $35. Chance to save on Midnight Lace dvd, there is an Australian blu that is supposed to be all region though.

The 20% discount does not apply to "TCM Exclusives" so if you're thinking about getting The Lady from Shanghai, forget it.
