Re: Boxsets and Steelbooks at Dollar General

Yesterday I saw Karate Kid Remake Steelbook along with the other one already mentioned. No gift sets though. I would say about 1 out of every 5 DGs I've been to has any blu-rays...

I found (and picked up) one of the Hancock sets ... If anyone is still looking for one, let me know ... would love to trade for the MIB set

After the Christmas holiday, I traveled some "back roads" through many small towns. Bet I passed 20 Dollar General stores. I'm certain there was some good stuff in at least one of those stores. I was tempted to stop at each one, but figured my family would have objected.

You would have probably wasted your time...

Re: Boxsets and Steelbooks at Dollar General

I went home for Christmas in a rural area in the deep south, and decided one boring afternoon to drive around town checking out the many Dollar General stores around me. After coming up empty handed, I found one single store with the motherlode. I resisted cleaning them out so as not to be a scrooge by leaving none for for anyone else, but suffice it to say, I now have more than enough of these sets.

I checked at least a dozen stores before Christmas. I saw a few of the Hancock set but since I already have the remote I passed on it. I only found one Spiderman set and never even saw the MIB set. I did find the steel book of 3. The
$1.99 Dvds are what made it worth checking so many stores. Found some nice obscure stuff including 5 criterions.
