Got the notification. My TZ shipped, but they canceled my DvD in the same order. I really can't complain, all things considered, but it is strange when they randomly cancel one person's stuff and not another's.

Received a TZ shipping confirmation about an hour ago with tracking number. New CC temp authorization popped up as well. This is looking promising for the Blu-ray deal of the century....

No signs of change for my copy of TZ, unshipped and no signs of pending charges.
I think cancellations after this length of time are just insulting. Can't believe they seem to be randomly canceling single items at their whim without explanation.

Got my shipping notice today. From all the talk of backorders, it's definitely sooner than expected. Both this and my (delivered) Dick Van Dyke order still show on their web site as Open/Not Yet Shipped.

These incidents have happened more than a few times with Deep Discount, so it shouldn't have surprised me at all. I thought maybe things had improved in their fulfillment process, which I swore never again after it took about two months for them to send out Warner catalog titles during a BOGO and they botched the orders severely.

There are two pending charges on my credit card to go along with the shipping notices. I'm tempted to let one of them bounce back to them, but then again the extra copy might make a nice gift for my brother, and if he's not interested in it, I guess that I could flip it for at least what I paid for it.
Still...grrrrr.

My tracking number finally showed up on DHL's system (took about 24 hours). USPS has no record, yet. Since it has to make a 2,000 mile journey on a truck, this might be a while. No complaints, though. Awesome deal.
