Re: Iron Man 3 Blu-Ray prices?

The 3 WMs I checked didn't have any of the 3D releases in stock - one of them didn't receive any of the IM3 discs. I wasn't able to get the Parade ad and am on the verge of giving up on this deal. What are the chances that there would be a price drop (and hopefully movie cash) when "Thor 2: The Dark World" comes out?

I picked up non 3D using DMR $3 coupon to get it for 16.99 last night at Walmart. Why the DVD + Blu and the DVD + Blu + DC are the same price is anyone's guess

I picked up both for now, I'll decide which one I'm keeping after I see the Black Friday ads.

Is that a sale or the regular price?

Sale price, I'm guessing for this week. The price on the sticker is in the $30's.

Disney's new pricing structure on titles is absolute crap. I'm glad I utilized the $3 DMR coupon when they still offered it. I'm kind of surprised it's not on sale for BF.

I think Disney is trying to keep prices artificially high on their Marvel releases. They are trying to develop them into prestige home video titles like their animated classics.

Hope that doesn't mean they plan to vault them, too.

That wouldn't make any sense. There is no value in re-releasing movies like Iron Man 3, Thor 2, etc. Theyre not epic films nor are/will they ever be timeless classics.
