It's going to depend on the clerk who takes them.

* I've had one who didn't even open the cases. Got lucky on this one because I gave them a DVD that not only had a cut-out through the UPC, but I also experimented on the disc to see if tooth paste and peanut butter really removed scratches. (For the record, neither did anything but fuck up the disc even further.)

* One clerk not only opened the cases, but took the discs out and examined it for (presumably) scratches.

* Usually, they just open the case to verify that the disc is in it.

I used the Express Lane service for the 1st time and actually had success with ordering the Blade Runner digibook. They had to override the system due to the item not being an in-store item, but they did it and I was able to use my U&S coupon.
The only unfortunate thing is that the item is back-ordered and ETA to my house is between 7/26 and 8/6.

Did not find much today myself. I did pick up the Serenity "Reel Heroes" steelbook and Doctor Who S7 part II. They had no copies of S7 part I in stock and no special display like someone else mentioned earlier in this thread. Was hoping to find the Shaun of the Dead Reel Heroes steelbook, but no such luck.

Hopefully this hasn't already been mentioned, but one thing I did find but did not pick up since I already own the ones I want was the Comic Book movie collection. Priced at 14.99 pre-coupon for 5 films. According to Amazon's listing it is a 5-disc set. Not sure about the specs, but figured I would mention it here in case anyone was interested.

I say it every time but this time I'm really done with this promotion. My BB has finally consolidated their media section instead of having huge empty racks, that's a good thing. I brought in 4 discs and couldn't find 4 Blu's, that's bad. No one in line and it still took 5 minutes of the guy trying to get the coupons done. Finally he said go pick out what you want and come back. I pulled 3 and a chick was able to get the coupon to work so I took it with me. I don't care about the DVD's, but I'd rather give them to my parents, the library or throw them out versus the frustration of trying to trade them in. In the 9.99 section, one title was 9.99 all the others were 12.99 - 17.99. Many had previously been much lower. I don't mind paying a bit more to have a product immediately and to support the local economy, but Best Buy is making it difficult to want to do business with them.

Bizarre. The website and the B&M stores are the same entity, so what's the big deal? The fact that they do separate pricing anyway is dumb.

I think the only thing I'm going to pick up this time is the Boondock Saints II DC tomorrow, which is an exclusive for awhile. I think it'll be $11.99 with a trade-in.

There isn't anything else that my store has. Their selection is garbage, now. I wouldn't be surprised if this is the last promotion for this.

Also, not part of the U&S sale, but found The Office: Special Edition (BBC DVD) in a $4.99 bin. Happy to pick that up, seeing later it sells for $27 on Amazon.

I think the only other title I might have picked up would have been National Lampoon's Vacation, but there weren't any copies.

Went in yesterday and traded two DVDs, only found one thing I wanted. Picked up Minority Report, which was tagged at 9.99 but rang up at 16.99, but didn't have any problem getting it for 4.99 after U&S. Going back in a couple hours to use the other coupon for Evil Dead.
