I just hope that Target has more than 4-12 copies of the 3D in stock (which has happened far too many times in the past) so I don't have to get there by 8:02 AM to have a chance to get it before the coupon expires.

Do you have a 3D TV? I remember before I got or had looked at one, I said the same thing and passed on the 3D versions to save $5-$8 bucks. Once I got the 3D TV I regretted that and never buy a 2D version if a 3D one exists. $8 is a bit much for the 3D, but $5 is always justifiable to me.
I hate buying movies with slipcovers at Target. They always manage to screw them up when they shove them in the keeper cases...

Of the 4 Targets that I frequent, only one of them ever puts blu-rays in security cases.

No keeper cases or spiderwire at the 3 that I frequent, thank goodness.

All my local Targets destroy all slipcovers with extreme prejudice, but isn't it the same price at Best Buy?

I have no idea. You could always price match. I am just going to keep my amazon preorder due to the $5 facebook gc I applied to the order.

I started buying the 3D versions to be more future-proof and am glad I did. We needed a new TV and ended up going 3D, not really expecting much, but it really adds to the home enjoyment of these films.

Well, BB gave me $5 for free from Reward Zone for no apparent reason, so I may just hit them up for the 3D version. Should be $15.99+tax out the door.

So there are no exclusives to the movie, correct? And any extra special features that come with the 3D instead of the blu-ray or is the 3D only worth it if you have or plan on getting a 3D tv?

Yes, the features are the same on each version, as far as I'm aware.

I'm glad that Disney has started going this route. There are several discs (Cars 2, Pirates 4, etc.) where the only way to get the meaty special features was to buy the 3D version.

Thanks for that information! My question, if I'm not mistake, is that the 3D version is 4 discs and the Blu-Ray is 2 discs...why is that?

Re: Wreck-It Ralph release week pricing

This week's ad at Best Buy has the 2-Disc BD for $22.99. 3-Disc BD (3D) is $27.99.

I'll probably go to Best Buy for the 2-Disc BD, since I have RZ Certs (& the $7 coupon).

Guess that will work since coupon does not state 4 disc 3D only. Just Blu-ray combo pack

Mine was only $17.99 from DD. I think it was $19.99 and I used a 10% coupon. It shipped early last week, but hasn't arrived yet. Hopefully it arrives today or tomorrow.

The link on the website xxx.nfm.com/DetailsPage.aspx?productid=37451788

has it for much more.
