This is part of their "Winter Doorbuster" deals for today and Saturday. It's the only BD that's part of the sale.

It was marked $29.99 on the shelf. I saw it in three stores. People were getting it for $24.99 after Upgrade & Save.

I was already planning on taking a look at this today in the store. I'd love it if it was marked down further.

there's no remastered content in this set. its the same shitty transfers on the first 2...specially the best of the lot which was the first movie. terrible video and audio. all this set does is add another disc with a new packaging. f you, Fox

BB's site is fucked up right now with their pricing. All of the video game doorbuster deals are listed at full price on their website. I would wager that Die Hard would ring up at $19.99 in-store.
Edit: Someone over at blu-ray.com said that it's ringing up at $39.99 in-store as well. I would wait until the price has been corrected on the website before venturing out to the store.

If they fix this, and it becomes 19.99 in-store, I'll definitely grab it for 14.99 with U&S...

Too bad, because I think if there had been one, I would have had no problem getting the cashiers to make the price adjustment. I made two purchases today and both times the sale prices didn't ring up--the 2 cashiers indicated the computers had been messing up all day and I simply told him what the sale price was and they keyed it in.

I got it a few days ago for $24.99 with the U&S coupon. And no, I did not already have the previous BD set.
It sucks that alot of the DVD extras didn't make it over to this set for Parts 1-3. Looks like I will have to hang on to them.

Re: BEST BUY Die Hard 25th Anniversary Collection 5 Disc BD $19.99( price mistake??)
Here is my quick story on getting this for $10 bucks, with a little information on Best Buy that prove useful to some of you guys both now, and in the future as well.
I went in, they had the same single copy in stock that they have had since it was released. I never saw more than this one single copy in stock. Anyway, it was tagged on sale for $29.99, no cheaper. I looked it up on the in store customer kiosk (the one I ordered all of those $0.99 titles on a few weeks ago) and sure enough it showed up at the $20 price on there - this was around 2 or so. I took it to checkout but it came up at $40.
Here is where it gets odd. I told them that I thought that was a mistake, and he looked it up on what I thought was the same search program and site that is used on the in store customer kiosk, but it came up at the full $40 on there. I told him to humor me and to go check the customer kiosk for me since I swore it showed up at $20 there for me. He went back with me and it was already in the employee log in section from where an employee was previously looking something up for someone, and he searched in THAT section and it again came up to the higher price. At the top of that screen there are tabs for different screens, and I told him to click the second one (which, from my experiences, is always the screen for the section that us customers see when we use it). When he searched for it on THAT section, and only on that section, he found it for the $20 price. He then agreed to price match it to the $20 price, I used a $5 off coupon, and then a $5 gift card from trading in a cell phone and ended up paying $10 or so for it out the door.
Just out of curiosity I went back to the customer kiosk to search for some of the other items that were on sale, but were ringing at the higher prices, and sure enough on the in store customer kiosk screen, and ONLY that screen, all of the prices were actually showing up correctly on there. So if this ever happens again, just go to the in store customer kiosk and place your order there since it'll ship free, and that section seems to be correct when EVERYTHING else is screwed up, including whatever screen the people at checkout uses to search for things (which I assume is just the normal Best Buy website).
On a side note, at checkout when I first went up I told him I wanted to price match it and the employee had his smart phone and pulled it out and was telling me how if I ever want to find the cheapest price on items anywhere to then price match at Best Buy I can download an app called Red Laser (which I've had for years, but didn't tell him that) and they will match whatever the lowest price shows up. I almost mentioned to him to use the Best Buy app since I was trying to match that price, but even in the Best Buy app the Die Hard set was coming up at the $40 price. I give this guy credit for trying to inform me on how to get the cheapest price matched price though, so kudos to him.
So yeah, the only system that showed the correct prices on everything was the customer kiosk. How freakin' weird.

I got it for $29.99 earlier this week at my local Best Buy. It included free $10 movie money for the upcoming sequel; I don't think I would have gotten it otherwise.

I'm seeing the correct $19.99 price online now available with free shipping. I may still pick this up in the hopes that the movie money will come with it.

DO NOT BUY THIS!! It's a rip-off even at $9.99... It is a recycling of the old, bad quality transfers. Further, it does NOT contain a remastered version of the 4th film, only the same old PG13 cut. Do not support this obvious cash-grab from Fox. Let them know you're unhappy with their treatment of the DIE HARD series by speaking loudly with your wallet!
