Why did they make such a big deal about expiring the hard earned points every year if they were gonna give soo many away for free? I don't really understand it as they also angered me with that.

I learned that Worst Buy is one of those stores where the expression "the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing" applies. The whole expiration thing is dumb, but I keep getting Silver status without hitting the spend threshold, so it hasn't affected me. Why does Staples only let you use your Rewards coupon twice or you lose it? No reason for either of these things except during some meeting some "bean counter" proposed doing these things to "save a little money for the bottomline", and the bean counter probably got a raise or a promotion for coming up with the idea that every February people would lose their fractional RZ points or that Staples Rewards coupons had to be used fully in 2 transactions. They're just dumb rules designed to save the company some money. In some other part of the company (the marketing instead of the accounting dept) someone else came up with the idea of let's give people up to 25 points x 2 per RZ account for a daily poll, and management obviously thought that was a good idea. I doubt marketing and accounting talked about it first. So for all the money accounting saved with their stupid fractional RZ expirations, marketing chucked it all away with the polls.

Speaking of these polls, I have yet to not get my 25 points x 2 for every poll regardless when I take it or which answer I picked or how many points it says I got at the moment. If I look in my RZ history, I've got 25 x 2 for every single day since I started. I'm not sure why so many people are posting they didn't get their points.

I don't think any of them win. I answered "I just like the commercials" and got my 25 points.

It doesn't matter which answer you pick. You're supposed to get the points regardless. If you get 0, it's not because of what you picked.

Agreed. I selected "has to sound like I'm there" and supposedly got zero points. But the points did show up a few minutes later. I have had a few instances where the points never showed up, but most of the time they eventually show.

I do have one question, however. I typically take my polls at night. Last night, I forgot, so I did them this morning. Will I have any issues doing the next poll tonight? I'm not sure if you can take two different polls on the same day.

Do the points appear and disappear periodically? I designed the livingroom on both my account and my wife's account. The points appeared on FB, then on the website. Then after awhile those points disappeared on FB then disappeared on the website.

Personally, my rule is not to do the polls in the first couple hours after they put them up, I wait until at least the next morning when I wake up. I haven't gotten 0 ponts since I stopped doing that.

Just to reiterate my earlier point, making sure I do only one poll twice on in any given calendar day has led me to a 100% success rate. Example: if the new poll shows up on the night of the 25th, and I already did one on the morning of the 25th, I wait until the morning of the 26th.

Got my 50 points for the new poll (I picked spending gift cards) and as long as all goes well and I don't get 0 points on more than one poll I'll be able to squeeze out another $5 before U&S ends

I don't know if anyone else did this but I discovered my points posted to my RZ account today. Looks like it only takes one week to receive the points. Even though it was only twelve points it was enough to boost my total over 100, which should shorten the wait time for my next RZ cert by one day.
