Wandered around another BB tonight and couldn't find squat. I was looking for Outland, but I haven't EVER seen it anywhere. Ended up going across the street and picking up When Harry Met Sally and Winter's Bone for $5 each and with the RED card, it's only $10.06 OTD.

Went in yesterday and used some of the coupons.

Combined with $10 in RZ certificares ( and 3 U&S coupons) I picked up:

Death Race 3
I am Bruce Lee documentary
Hara Kiri

Came out to around $44 after tax. Not bad for 3 new titles.

This is the SKU of the single disc edition online and ordering it online will get you the single disc. This means that their inventory is messed up online and the only people getting the 2 disc SE are people who are lucky enough to get those at their local stores mixed in with the batch of 1 discs under the same SKU.

I've only seen the 1 disc at my stores while sitting under the tag saying 2 disc. Even the rare helpful store employees couldn't do anything about this inventory error to get a 2 disc SE.

One store by me had it for $14.99 - another had it for $9.99. Very frustrating. Like most of you I'm trying to find a copy of Casablanca...

match it to Online price. I got mine that way and Mgr overrode price again to $4.99 to apply U&S since the latter won't apply if PM is done (its treated as a second promotion)

I read in next weeks ad Dredd 3D will be $14.99 AC. On the fence because a lot of lionsgate titles drop price really quickly.

It's funny to read of people looking for Casablanca.

Last time they did Upgrade & Save I had a partner. On my first trip this round I went solo & was not confident I would find anything to buy so I left my DVDs in the car while I looked around. I found a single Casablanca, a couple of Dog Day Afternoon, & thought, "ok, I can work with this." By the time I grabbed my DVDs & re-entered the store, someone had bought the Casablanca. I couldn't believe it.

Even without Casablanca (& a very limited selection), I'm up to 15 titles so far this month (each $4.99)- with mixed results. Some of these (like Big Lebowski & Superman triple) are questionable upgrades; some are new to me (Moon, Willis triple); some are movies I like that I never got around to buying (Sin City, Dog Day Afternoon). 2nd biggest disappointment is probably not finding the Kubrick.

Most of my trade-ins have been unwanted Fox-Lorber/Genius movies from old $3 3-packs from Big Lots. I do hesitate to bring in anything cult-ish like Shatner in Incubus - knowing that it is probably just getting ground up.

As usual it depends on the manager. The one store told me they would match the online price but I couldn't use the upgrade coupon. Thankfully it rang up the correct price at another store and I got it for $5.

Now that the Scorsese triple feature is back to $19.99 I was able to find it. Combined my U&S coupon along with a $5 off mailer I got and paid my 9.99+tax with a gift card I got for trading in old iPod Shuffles.
