If you bought it from Best Buy and/or Target, you can go back and they will refund the price of the coupon. I did that today for Spartacus: Vengeance at Target. Got $5 cash back.

I know Target will within 7, 14 or 15 days depending on the CSR you get. I list those 3 days because I've been quoted all 3 times as the limit for adjustments, but I think it's 15 days the same as the price adjustment. A few reps have done it beyond that time frame. A few reps have refused to adjust at all claiming a coupon can only be adjusted at the store where you bought it. It's always YMMV depending on the mood of the rep, though you have a much better chance of success at Target than BB.

I have never tried to get an ex post facto coupon adjustment at BB. Somehow I figure since they usually give me such hell grief using coupons at the time of purchase that applying them after the fact would really be a miracle.

At least with Target it's within official policy to take coupons afterwards. The receipt even says "missed coupon" whereas at BB everything is done manually and occurs solely depending on the mood of the rep and how the rep chooses to interpret vague policies. Some reps like helping other people get deals (the minority) while other reps (the majority at BB) make it their life mission to make sure customers pay as much as possible and will pull any excuse of the air to deny a PM or coupon.

I did this a couple of times at BB during the last U&S (one was for Predators I think). The CS person just processed it as a price adjustment and the refund was put back in my credit card.

I got my Stooges BD used through Gohastings for $7 + 96c shipping + tax. Obviously you have to wait for the right used price and the right promo to come around (40% off is typically the best as 3 for $21 is very rare), and the item has to be in stock which is tricky, but I've had good luck with them. The last thing I ordered was a used Santa Pups 2 BD for $7.76 + 96c shipping and it came still sealed. Much better than $20-$25 minus $5 coupon in stores. You probably already know about Gohastings being the BD buyer you are, but I always check their prices and deals now as a way to beat B&M store prices.

Mirror Mirror and We Bought a Zoo are on sale for $9.99 a piece this week at Best Buy. With the $5 manufactures coupons you can get them for $4.99 a piece.

I don't buy used unless I get them very, VERY cheap. *8 bucks is too much for me (unless 3D)... *Being the BD addict that I am, I can wait for a deal. *I'm in no hurry whatsoever, especially since I saw the movie in the theater...

Yes, you are preaching to the choir as we both have the same philosophy and are cheapskates on buying movies. Nevertheless, I do sometimes cave in and buy a little early on some titles paying up to $10 for a BD movie that I'm a little more eager to see (even on occasion a used one). I'm just saying that Gohastings' used product is often just like new and some of it is worth considering when the right deal is active and it's in stock.

I saw We Bought a Zoo at Walmart tonight for $8.88 so take off the $5 coupon and that's a pretty good deal.

Thanks for posting this. With Best Buy being 20 minutes away, I figured I'd pass on this at $5. But I was happy to pick it up for less than $4 at Walmart.

I did have all kinds of trouble finding a copy anywhere in the media section. Figured there might be an outside chance that it had made its way into the $7.88. Sure enough, thankfully found a copy at the top of the massive pile there. Did ring up $8.88. Could have pushed for them to give it to me for a buck cheaper I guess, but I didn't bother.
