Agreed. I saw some of the blu-rays on the list and wanted them, like Back to the Future, but saw the prices and the some stores are actually a better price than what Amazon has. VERY disappointing!

I'll have to think about that Eastwood Collection. It's a random collection of films, but I would be able to take care of a few upgrades and get some new titles - all for $3.50/film. Thanks for the heads up.

Wow, Monday's BBC prices aren't very good. I'm kinda surprised. B&N has done better. But I suppose it is uncommon for Amazon to do a lightning deal on classic Dr. Who, so that part is kinda nice...
Eastwood is definitely a deal, but I own all but 3 in HD already (granted one is on HD-DVD). Dunno if I can justify it for only 4 upgrades...

This was on sale at Target for the last 2 weeks for the same price. You could get it even cheaper by buying $50 worth of stuff and getting a Target GC. May be on sale this week as well at Target. They may even do the GC promo again (it's run the last 2 weeks Wed-Sat).

The 10 disc Eastwood Collection is worth it if you don't own enough of the movies on BD already. I was at Costco yesterday holding it in my hands for $29.99, but I chose to skip it because I already own 6 out of its 10 movies on BD. Though most of the 6 movies I have are probably still unopened, selling new or used BDs for any reasonable amount of money is more effort than I have time to expend now. Amazon trade ins are usually so low as to hardly be worth it, even for new BDs.
