Assume that all of these are available to all customers unless specifically listed as member only like the Welcome Package. Also remember that any preliminary codes are just that and BN could pull it, change the details or exclusions anything prior to release so always a bit of YMMV until the final release date

The Lord of the Rings Extended BD set is being bundled with Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor (PS4 or XBox One) for $54.98
That seems like a fantastic deal. I still have my LOTR original extended set on DVD, but this might be a good enough incentive to upgrade. As for the game, is it any good for those who may have it?

Picked one up as well. Between leftover GC balance and AMEX rewards credits, I wound up paying like $5 out of pocket, which is about right for me (I'm not the biggest LOTR fan, but it'll make a nice stocking stuffer for the gf).

No seamless branching. The set in content is pretty much exactly what we got in the DVD ones.
I almost bit on this but...I'm done w/ Middle Earth as a thing to own. I don't care to have more DVDs in a set where they could have just put them on a BD. I'm not really wowed by it anymore.

^Thanks guys! I'll hold on to the theatrical cuts too then (In total, I've spent $5.xx on both cuts since I won the original trilogy discs in a caption contest at HDD lol)
I haven't re-visited the Shire in years and have never seen the extended editions. Hmm...this might turn into a Black Friday/Thanksgiving gift rather than a Xmas one.

Still have not seen Mad Men Season 6 from 2013 for under $10 like the other seasons. Hoping to see Arrow 2 for under $20 like season 1 was last Black Friday.

Deep Discount has it for $8.99 today only as part of their 25 deals per day. However the deal breaker is you need $25 for free shipping. I did find some Warner Archive blus for about $ 12.53 at DD. Out of the Past, The Wind and The Lion, and the Americanization of Emily among them to get free shipping.
