Assume that all of these are available to all customers unless specifically listed as member only like the Welcome Package. Also remember that any preliminary codes are just that and BN could pull it, change the details or exclusions anything prior to release so always a bit of YMMV until the final release date

Mini FAQ
Coupons should not work for PREORDERS , Nook, Legos, Rosetta Stone, Digital, Gift Cards, Memberships, etc. There are glitches where sometimes an excluded item will be allowed but assume that is the exception to the rule

I think I might bite on the Dexter Box Set for only $106. It's never been that low and I seriously doubt I'll be buying each season for $13 or so.

Whoa, no, it hasn't, cheapest it has been is $179.49. It's the Goldbox deal of the day. Tempting....

I want to get that Cosmos set, but I don't have prime, so I don't know what to add to get free shipping.

Is Dexter worth the blind buy? I've never seen the show since I don't have Showtime but I'm a huge fan of Michael Hall's work in Six Feet Under.

I really enjoyed it, particularly the earlier seasons. If you like his work, I don't doubt you will like this.

I only watched the final season, live. Didn't have quite the hatred for the finale that everyone else seems to have had, but the show as a whole is definitely best in the early seasons.

Considering it will likely have decent resale value, I think it's worth taking a chance.

Hard to say. I liked Dexter (didn't see the final season) despite his work in Six Feet Under. To me, there's no comparison between the 2 as I really disliked 6 Feet Under. Dexter is the better show and the better character.

Nothing is worth $100 blind. Pay for a month of Netflix, or get a free trial, and see what you think. FWIW, I loved the first few seasons, still need to finish it someday; Six Feet Under was a top ten of all time show for me.

All 8 seasons are on Netflix. I say go that route instead of investing $100+ on something you've never seen.

Buy it today. Don't open it. Watch a couple eps on Netflix. Sell on eBay if you don't like. You will make the money back.

Thanks for the input everybody. My lazy ass didn't realize it was on Netflix. I'll go GatorDeb's route, sounds like a win/win.

Uhm, wow, they pulled the Dexter deal already. Have they ever ended Goldboxes Deal of the Days early? Whenever a deal runs out they still let you buy it even if it's out of stock, I did that with the Michael Palin travel collection which shipped a week or two later. I have never seen them pull a Deal Of The Day/Week early.

They didn't pull anything. Quantities are limited on Deals of the Day. And yes, this has happened before; it's hardly unusual. It's Deal of the Day, not Deal for the Day.

To elaborate a bit, if you were Amazon and you negotiated with the manufacturer a lower cost on x number of units and priced it accordingly, you wouldn't offer the special price once you blew through those units.

Don't know if it will happen (certainly not till the xmas season), but I'd like to see a blow out price on the Complete Breaking Bad. Get it under $50 on DVD or Blu & I'd be tempted.

I'd be content with getting the final season for a decent price, rather than >$30 for 8 episodes.

I've seen it, just the collecting obsession wouldn't mind owning it.

Thanks. I know that the Cinderellas are bad, but I like having them all. And that's not a bad price. I know it's cheaper than when I bought them for my nieces.

My kids were obsessed with #2 for a while, and never with #1.

How good is Arrow S1 as a blind buy? 20 bucks on Amazon, at least $10 less than its previous lowest price. You seldom have new seasons on BD this low.

Edit: Ah, nevermind, it's on Netflix, since it's pretty paltry on extras I'll just add it to the streaming queue I'll never get through. Heads up if you wanted to buy it

It's an excellent show. You'll like it. I'm watching it on Netflix too.

They even threw in the DVD set in on that deal - Was a combined DVD/Blu-Ray 9 Disc set.
Hopefully the season two Blu-Ray/DVD set is the same price this coming Thanksgiving.
Wouldn't mind it becoming a annual thing where I pickup the previous season of Arrow for $9.99 every Thanksgiving.

BTW, the Scream 5 Disc Blu-Ray set is back to $9.99! (Even though I already picked up the set for myself the first time it was $9.99 as well as a set for a friend the next time it was $9.99, I for some reason have it still listed in my save for later area so I keep getting updates. LOL!)
