This may get me flamed but I don't know what the big whoop is here. I saw Oldboy and it was ok, why is everyone hyping this movie up. I guess I will need to check out the other two in this trilogy.

I don't think that's relevant in a bargains thread. If you aren't interested in a particular title, just move on. If you want to debate the merits of a title, I don't think this is the place to do it. I say that mainly because we have already had this discussion about these movies just a few posts ago.

I think the exchange program was only offered when this was first released. Mine didn't come with the 32 page booklet either....

Does that mean I'm getting Old Boy with non-HD audio? If the exchange program is over and Tartan didn't replace discs with HD audio, I'm sending it back.

They were only exchanging it because the package said it was included. With the new packaging, it doesn't state HD audio, so they don't "have" to replace it anymore. Dunno whether or not they will... I'd love to exchange mine if I can.

Don't know if this is really a deal or not, but right now if you buy the HD digital copy of Taken 2 for $14.99, you will get that money back credited towards the purchase of the Taken 2 BD.

If you happened to buy Assassins Creed III during that special Facebook promotion, you have a $3 Amazon Instant Video credit to use, so that might be something to consider if this promotion interests you.

Deal is good through 1/15/13 which is the day Taken 2 is released on BD.

Thanks for clarifying. I just cancelled my order. Old Boy is my favorite of the three films, and the thought of having it with lossy audio is just unacceptable.

Received my copy of the Vengeance Trilogy yesterday. Not that it really matters, but when did they stop the tin packaging?

The tin was exclusive to Best Buy in the initial print run, and Best Buy sold its over/unwanted-stock to Amazon after a few months, where the rest of it sold out.

I was misled about the tin because the one Amazon user photo showed the tin. My fault for assuming, but I don't really care about the tin that much. I'm more bummed that I got a 2nd broken Blu-Ray case in the past 3-4 orders from Amazon.

I assume you mean that they matched Best Buy. Thanks for mentioning it, I enjoyed that series but didn't see all of season 1 and have been mulling over buying it. That price is good enough! (It will be a "watch and sell" for me; cheaper than Netflix.)
